" I have had the opportunity to take part in the growth of an ethical, exciting, and profitable business. "
Kevin Aldred - Financial ControllerI qualified as an accountant whilst working for Philips Electronics, the Dutch consumer electronics multinational. During my 15 years with Philips I gained varied experience working with hi-technology products and their routes to market. Indeed my first five years were spent in non-financial roles including technical support and customer support, before eventually deciding to pursue a career in finance and accounting.
After qualifying as a Chartered Management Accountant, and before leaving Philips, I embarked on a four year MBA course awarded by Manchester Business School. I left my role as Financial Controller at Philips and then gained a further two years experience working as a Financial Controller in small industrial organisations, before eventually settling at Liquid Plastics.
Whilst working at Liquid Plastics I have had the opportunity to write my final dissertation and have been awarded my MBA. The last nine years with the company have proven to be a valuable opportunity to take part in the successful growth of an ethical, exciting, and profitable business.
