" It is widely recognised that Liquid Plastics is not an organisation that allows the 'grass to grow under its feet. "
Mike Gardner - Production & Logistics DirectorI have been employed at Liquid Plastics since 1980 when I joined the business in a purchasing and inventory management capacity. As the business developed my areas of responsibility increased to include the disciplines of production planning and transport. In 2000 I took on the role of Logistics Manager, where I managed the supply chain encompassing the selection and scheduling of raw materials through to the despatch of finished goods. Then in 2005 I became Operations Manager, which effectively bolted on the management of the production function to my existing role. I became a director of the business in 2008.
It is particularly satisfying to be part of a team that produces and supplies high quality products to a competitive and demanding market, and during my time with the company life has never been dull.
It is widely recognised both within the business community and the roofing industry generally that Liquid Plastics is not an organisation that allows the 'grass to grow under its feet'. We have a long history of developing new strategies which has enabled the company to grow consistently at a rate that has been higher than business norms. There is every reason to suggest this will continue as we look to explore the many global market opportunities available to us.
