Steve Sullivan

After studying for an Economics degree in London, I joined Cadbury Schweppes in Bournville, Birmingham on their graduate trainee scheme. From there I went on to become the Marketing Accountant for the biscuit division.

After some time working in the City as a Project Accountant with Amalgamated Metal Corporation I moved north to become Financial Controller with GEC – firstly at Trafford Park and then at Openshaw. Following that position I joined Beldam Crossley, manufacturers of sealing materials in Bolton, as Finance Director before finally joining Liquid Plastics 11 years ago, also as Finance Director.

During my time at Liquid Plastics I’ve seen the company grow to become a global player in the roofing industry, with the capability to take on all of our biggest competitors in the roofing market. I became Managing Director in 2008, just prior to our acquisition by the Sika Group, and I am relishing the challenge of leading us through our uncertain economic times.

Living between Preston and Blackburn in Lancashire, I’m married with two daughters and do enjoy the odd round of golf (sometimes very odd!).
