Aqueous Metal Primer
Liquid Plastics' Aqueous Metal Primer is a waterborne blend of a metal reactive acrylic based emulsion, electrochemically active anti-corrosive pigments, a barrier additive, and anti-flash rust agents. It can be used for priming some metallic substrates prior to the application of Liquid Plastics coatings. It also constitutes an effective anti-corrosive coating to non-exposed and internal applications. It is available in 15 litre and 5 litre tins.
Bonding Primer
Liquid Plastics' Bonding Primer is a rapid curing, water based primer consisting of two components; a pre-reacted epoxy resin dispersed in water (Part A) and a waterborne modified polyamine solution (Part B). In its wet mixed state it is milky green and slightly viscous. It is suitable for use on most sound and eroded building surfaces where both a penetrative and surface-lying effect is needed.
DTE Primer
DTE Primer is a two component epoxy primer and surface damp proof membrane for use over wet or new concrete or screeds. It can be bulked out with DTE Primer Filler to form a three component scratch coat and primer.
Metal Primer
Liquid Plastics' Metal Primer is a tough, amide curing, two-pack system offering a high level of corrosion resistance. It consists of a grey base (Part A) and an activator (Part B). It is suitable for the priming of most metallic substrates prior to the application of Liquid Plastics coating systems. It also constitutes an effective anti-corrosive treatment in its own right.
Quick Cure Primer
Quick Cure Primer is a two component, rapid curing, high solids, solvent based polyurea primer. It is designed primarily for sealing cementitous substrates to reduce the incidence of pin-holing through outgassing.
Reactivation Primer
Reactivation Primer is a single pack, polyurethane based primer for the reactivation of existing Decothane roofing systems, prior to overcoating. Reactivation Primer is designed to yield excellent adhesion to existing, suitably prepared installations. This enables any localised damage to be easily repaired and facilitates recoating, at the end of the system’s design life to provide continuing effective protection against water ingress.
PU Sealant
Liquid Plastics’ PU Sealant is a single pack permanently elastic low modulus polyurethane sealant for sealing at termination details. It cures rapidly on exposure to atmospheric moisture and is ideally suited for application to vertical surfaces. When cured, it has excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates.
Biowash
Biowash is a biocidal treatment supplied in the form of a concentrate with a blue dye to aid identification after application - a non-dyed version is also available for use under clear coatings such as Decothane Clearglaze. Biowash is designed to kill active mould, fungal, and bacterial spores prior to the application of Liquid Plastics' membranes and coatings. Unlike many conventional systems it remains active after its initial application, guarding against contamination for up to two years.
